Get RIPPED by taking my Kidney Kween Super Life Maximizer!
It happened… the dude on steroids finally got outed for using a mountain of steroids. I don’t really care about that. Performance Enhancing Drugs (PEDs) are everywhere. Your favorite athlete, and the guy in the gym that looks like they’re on ‘em? Yep,likely juiced. Men will die for points & money. Increase the rewards and they’ll do whatever it takes. PED use is rampant. HRT use is growing in popularity. I have no notion that this will stop, nor do I really care. Each individual has the ability to make decisions about what they put into their body. What I do care about is when people claim that their results are directly created by a special diet, a special exercise program or certain supplements. What I care more about is those that are obviously ‘on gear’ and lie about it.
Those of us that work in fitness and nutrition already know. The kids and the busy 9-5’ers don’t. It’s already enough that people think Marvel moviestar physiques created by (at the bare minimum) personal chefs, teams of trainers and doctors are normal and achievable through normal means. Plot twist: they are not. Your favorite action movie star is very, very likely juiced. The supplement industry is NOT regulated by the FDA, and the industry lobbies hard to not be considered foods. Why does this matter? It matters because people that run supplement companies can put anything into those pills & powders and make any claim they want - and then pump millions of dollars into marketing materials that sell an unrealistic lifestyle. “Get RIPPED by taking my Kidney Kween Super Life Maximizer!” We know that marketing works - especially in the days of social media overload. People pop up out of nowhere with no clothes on and wild claims - and people pay attention. Why? It plays to our desire for shiny objects and FAST RESULTS GUARANTEED (actual user results may vary). I’m here to tell you it’s a trap - designed to get you to buy supplements that almost always DO NOT have research to back them. There is no special plan, there is no special supplement. There are tried and true methods that work over and over - and they usually look like this: Eat lean protein, nutrient rich vegetables, drink water & limit processed foods. At the same time, participate in an exercise regimen that you enjoy. Do this consistently for the rest of your life. Not sexy right? But it makes (common) sense. Unfortunately, we’re not all wired for common sense. We want to believe that there’s a quick fix, one weird trick, one secret way that only a shirtless guy eating organ meats knows. Sorry, nope. Yes, you can see results quickly by making changes to your lifestyle but there’s no secret, no trick. Well, there is. Ready for it? Okay then, here are the three ‘life-hacks’ that will really make a difference: 1. Eat lean protein, nutrient rich vegetables, drink water & limit processed foods.
2. Participate in an exercise regimen that you enjoy.
3. Do this consistently for the rest of your life.
