First of all, congratulations on making the choice to change your life for the better. Just by being here, you've already shown interest in improving yourself.
How do I do it?
You check in daily and weigh in weekly. We make corrections as needed and make sure you’re on the right path. The key is accountability. Most people know what to do, it’s just hard on your own. The check ins are really the biggest part. Just creating a lifestyle, not ‘doing a diet’. Oh - and you get movement in too! You can do the workouts in the private group - or you can do literally anything you like to do. Walk, jog, dance, lift, jump, play sports - just get it done 3-5 days a week.
I live far away, how can I do this?
Yes! We have great ongoing results with remote coaching and some of our most successful clients are thousands of miles away.
I'm vegan, a vegetarian, keep kosher or only eat paleo. Can I do this?
Yes! We've worked with every single type of diet there is. You only like crickets and leaves? We can probably still help (probably).
What do I need to purchase?
Normal groceries. You'll likely spend less than you usually do during a regular trip to the store. Many people have said they've saved by not buying junk and ordering take out/delivery.
I’m traveling for work often. Can I do this?
Every city, town and airport has a ton of acceptable foods. We will teach you how to eat healthy on the road. If you travel, you need to make healthy eating a priority more than anyone else.
I cheated on my diet. What now?
It’s not the end of the world. We all go off plan at times. Better, not perfect. Get back on the wagon.
I don’t live in Miami. How can I exercise with you?
We post workouts in our private group regularly. Dan also does individual program design for a select number of people. If you have specific goals, set up a conversation with Dan and he'll tell you more.
Do you have any recipes I should try?
Heck yes! We post new recipes all the time in our private group.
Do I have to drink this much water?
Yes. However, it does not mean you can not eat food. Fiber and water aid with digestion and a ton of other stuff.
This food is not on The Dan Plan. Can I eat it?
You can eat anything you want. It's your choice. However, if you want to see attainable results like the hundreds of people that have completed Phase 1 this year, then eat exactly according to The Dan Plan. There are no quick fixes to long-term solutions.
I never get 8 hours of sleep because of the kids, work, etc.
Sleep helps, will only benefit you and make your results more rapid, but we have numerous success stories of mothers with young kids, doctors working late shifts and many others who do not have the ability to get that many hours of sleep. Simply put, The Dan Plan alone will give you more energy.
How often should I weigh myself?
Once a week at most. A smart scale at home or the gym will give you and us more information, but how you look and feel will be the most obvious measurement.
I don't have or like using social media. Do I have to use Facebook Messenger and/or Facebook Groups to communicate?
It really helps us communicate with you and provide the individual feedback of support. It adds to accountability. We can help you create an anonymous account if you're afraid that Big Brother is watching.
How much does it cost?
I offer a few different options. I start by messaging or talking on the phone with everyone, 1-on-1, to see what the best fit is for you.
We only ask for a 3-month commitment to getting you results. Annual plans are available.
