Ok - here's the situation. Abs come from a few different places. One, genetics. Some people are lucky. That doesn't mean you have no shot at getting abs, it just means some people will get them easier. Be kind to yourself. If it takes you forever to get your 6 pack, have patience...and persistence.
Second, hard work - IN THE KITCHEN. By now you've probably heard the phrase, "Abs are made in the kitchen." It's true! Your nutrition is the first thing to look at if you want to get lean.
Third - your training. What are you doing to get lean? Are you training smart? Are you putting in the effort? Abs don't come from a million crunches. They come from great nutrition and a well rounded fitness plan.
SO - the secret? There really isn't one. Have consistently good nutrition, stay accountable, have a good fitness plan and - most importantly - follow through!
